An Exciting New Treatment For Glowing Skin
The Vampire Lift is an innovative new treatment designed to produce glowing, younger-looking skin – and it’s now available at MDCosmedX Laser & Lipo Center in Bowling Green, KY!
The Vampire Lift combines micro-needling and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to encourage faster cellular turnover for smoother and younger-looking skin. The Vampire Lift is an excellent treatment option for minimizing wrinkles, fine lines, scars, and uneven skin tone. Additionally, the Vampire Lift uses the body’s own platelets to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, both of which are key building blocks for younger-looking skin.
The end result is smoother, younger-looking skin that looks much more rejuvenated and refreshed!
What Happens During the Treatment?
Before the Vampire Lift begins, your MDCosmedX Laser & Lipo practitioner will draw your blood and place it in a special device to clean and remove its platelets. Once these platelets are prepared, they’ll be placed in a special formula and injected to the treatment area via micro-needling injections.
Micro-needling occurs via the Eclipse MicroPen, which uses a small needle tip to make several microscopic wounds in the skin of the treatment area. These micro-wounds allow the PRP to penetrate the skin, which encourages faster cellular turnover and skin rejuvenation.
Additionally, microneedling encourages the body’s natural wound healing processes, which in turn triggers the body’s collagen and elastin production. These building blocks are vital to younger and healthier-looking skin.
Most patients will need 3 to 6 treatments to see ideal results. These treatments should be scheduled about 4 to 6 weeks apart in order to allow the skin time to recover.
Final results from the Vampire Lift can be seen two to four weeks after the treatment, and last for up to six months.
Does the Treatment Hurt?
Many patients have said that the Vampire Lift feels like sandpaper is being dragged across the skin. Topical numbing cream can be used to manage any discomfort associated with the procedure.
Is There Any Downtime?
There’s minimal downtime associated with the Vampire Lift procedure. Patients will notice immediate redness after the procedure; swelling, tightness, and peeling are also typical side effects. These side effects tend to dissipate after three to five days. Some patients may want to take time off from work until these symptoms are resolved.
