What Does a Facial Treatment Involve?
Patients at our clinic can expect to be pampered in a serene space while receiving their skin care treatments. Before your Vampire Facial, we will draw your blood for your PRP collection. The blood will then be taken to our laboratory for the separation process, during which the stem cells, platelets, and growth factors can be turned into PRP. For your microneedling therapy, we use modern technology with tiny needles to make micro-injuries in your skin, which will help stimulate the creation of collagen. Once the microneedling is done, the PRP serum will be placed on the skin to sink in. Once the PRP is fully absorbed, we'll remove the serum and clean the skin.
If you are interested in dermaplaning, a team member will explain the process during a consultation beforehand. Dermaplane treatments are typically performed on an outpatient basis in our office. After cleaning the skin, the treatment will gently scrape the skin's surface with a facial blade. The technician will repeatedly scrape the treatment area until the face has been entirely treated. The amount of time needed will vary, depending on whether a section or the full face is being addressed.
Following your facial treatment, you may have mild redness and irritation — this should fade naturally.
